Procedure: Chickens were immunized with the synthetic peptide (YTDIEMNRLGK (VSV-G)) corresponding to aa 501-511 of vesicular stomatitis virus glycoprotein (VSV-G) conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the immunoglobulin fraction prepared. Antibodies were immunoaffinity purified using the peptide immobilized on a solid support.
Specifications: This antibody is suitable for ELISA, Western blots and immunofluorescence techniques. Recommended dilution for Western blots is 1:2000 - 1:10,000. For ELISA coating, recommended dilution is between 1:200 and 1:500 and for IF, dilute to 1:500.
