Procedure:	Chickens were immunized with HHHHHH conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunization, eggs were collected and the immunoglobulin fraction prepared. Antibodies were immunoaffinity purified using the peptide immobilized on a solid support.
Specifications:	ELISA: Antibody specificity was verified by ELISA against peptide conjugated to BSA (HHHHHH-BSA). A 1:8,000 dilution of the antibody gave an OD=1.0 in a 15 minute reaction. Appropriate specificity controls were run. Western Blots: 293T cells were transfected with three different constructs of differing sizes. Whole cell extracts were analyzed and the results compared with lysates from non- transfected cells. The anti-HHHHHH was an efffective antibody at a 1:1000 (1 ug/ml) dilution. The Westerns probed with this antibody are very sharp and clear with extremely low background and no non-specific binding with untransfected extracts. Also effective with Invitrogen Positope.
