Procedure:	Chickens were immunized with extracts from both male and female heartworms. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbant and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Specifications:	This anti-canine heartworm is suitable for ELISA and Western Blotting. Recommended dilutions for Western Blots is between 1:500 and 1:1000 and for ELISA is between 1:2500 and 1:10,000.
Storage:	4°C or frozen for long term. Do not freeze-thaw often.
