Procedure:
Chickens were immunized with highly purified goat IgG isolated from normal pooled goat serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent. Anti Goat IgG was further absorbed against human, mouse and rabbit IgG.
Specifications:
The affinity purified anti goat IgG reacts with immunoglobulins and the papain derived Fc and Fab fragments by IEP and gel diffusion techniques. There is no reaction with human, mouse or rabbit serum.
