Procedure: Chickens were immunized with highly purified goat IgG isolated from normal pooled goat serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Specifications: The affinity purified anti IgG (H+L) reacts with all subclasses of IgG and with all classes of goat immunoglobulins by immunodiffusion and IEP techniques due to the presence of anti light chains. In a direct ELISA against purified goat immunoglobulins, conjugate diluted to 1/15,000 produced an O.D.=1.0 in a 15 minute reaction with TMB as substrate. Optimal conjugate working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.
