Procedure:	Chickens were immunized with highly purified goat IgG Fc fragments isolated from normal pooled goat serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
