Procedure:	Chickens were immunized with highly purified cotton rat IgG isolated from normal pooled cotton rat serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate.
Specifications:	The affinity purified anti-cotton rat IgG reacts with immunoglobulins and the papain derived Fc and Fab fragments by IEP and gel diffusion techniques. The F/P ratio is between 3 and 6. For Western blots, use at concentration of 0.2 - 1.0 ug/ml. For ELISA, use at 0.05 - 0.5 ug/ml.
