Procedure:	Chickens were immunized with extracts from both male and female heartworms (Dirofilaria immitus). After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbant.
Specifications:	This anti-canine heartworm is suitable for ELISA, Western Blotting and lateral flow applications. Recommended dilutions for Western Blots is between 1:1,000 and 1:10,000 and for ELISA capture is between 1:200 and 1:1000.
