Affinity purified
Full Name:
Affinity Purified Chicken Anti C-MYC Epitope Tag
Physical State:
liquid

Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2
Preservative:
0.1% sodium azide
Procedure:
Chickens were immunized with EQKLISEEDL (C-MYC) conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the immunoglobulin fraction prepared. Antibodies were immunoaffinity purified using the peptide immobilized on a solid support.
Specifications:
Antibody specificity was verified by ELISA against peptide conjugated to BSA (EQKLISEEDL-BSA). A 1:38000 dilution of the antibody gave an OD=1.0 in a 15 minute reaction using HRP-conjugated Goat Anti Chicken IgY At 1:10,000 and TMB as the substrate. Appropriate specificity controls were run. Western Blots: The anti C-MYC was an effective probe at 1:5000 dilution.
