Procedure:
Chickens were immunized with highly purified normal rat IgG in Freunds adjuvant. Eggs were collected, the IgY fraction prepared and the anti-rat IgG antibodies immunoaffinity purified from an IgG immunoabsorbant. The antibodies were conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Specifications:
The affinity purified antibody reacts with rat IgG in whole serum and purified IgG, Fab and Fc fragments when tested by immunoelectrophoresis. Molar F/P ratio = 5.9
