Procedure:	Chickens were immunized with highly purified rat Ferritin isolated from rat livers. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbant.
Specifications:	The affinity purified antibody reacts monospecifically with Rat Ferritin by immunoelectrophoresis and gel diffusion. Recommended dilution for Western blots is: 0.5 to 1 ug/ml. For ELISA coating, recommended dilution is between 1 and 5 ug/ml.
