Procedure:	Chickens were immunized with recombinant protein L (a cell surface protein from Peptostreptococcus magnus) . Antibodies were isolated from immune eggs, affinity purified on a protein L column and conjugated to N- hydroxysuccinimide (NHS)-activated agarose beads. Beads were washed extensively with after the blocking of the residual NHS sites.
Specifications:	The specific activity of the anti-protein L-agarose was determined. For this lot, 1.1 mg protein L bound per ml agarose.
