Procedure: Chickens were immunized with purified human β-2-microglobulin. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a human β-2-microglobulin immunoabsorbant.
Specifications: The anti-β-2-microglobulin forms a single precpitin band with purified β-2-microglobulin using immunoelectrophoretic and gel diffusion techniques. It is suitable for depletion, ELISA and blotting applications. Recommended dilutions for Western blotting is 1:1000 and for ELISA coating is 1:200 - 1:500.
