Procedure: Goats were immunized with highly purified chicken IgA. The antiserum was solid phase absorbed to make IgA alpha chain specific and the anti-IgA antibodies were immunoaffinity purified and conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Specifications: The affinity purified anti-IgA alpha reacts with IgY in serum and secretions. It does not react with IgM, IgY or light chains by IEP analysis. Optimal conjugate working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions. Molar F/P ratio: 3-6.
