Procedure:
Goats were immunized with highly purified chicken IgA. The antiserum was solid phase absorbed to make IgA alpha -chain specific and the anti-IgA antibodies were immunoaffinity purified.
Specifications:
The affinity purified anti-IgA alpha reacts with IgA in serum and secretions. It does not react with IgM, IgY or light chains by IEP analysis. Optimal working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.
